Southeastern College’s medical assisting program was recently named one of the top programs in Florida for 2020 by Medical Assistant Advice, a website that provided in-depth information on the field of medical assisting. Southeastern College took the No. 12 spot on the list which ranked the top 25 medical assisting programs in Florida.

Southeastern College was one of 11 private colleges to earn the designation and one of only four to earn a spot in the top 12. Southeastern’s Medical Assisting Diploma program earned high marks for its programmatic accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and its goal of preparing graduates to sit for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) examination.

“We are extremely pleased to be included on this list of the top medical assisting programs in Florida,” said Robert Keiser, Southeastern College Executive Director. “We strive to offer a superb academic program and rewarding experience to the next generation of allied health professionals.”
