cOMPUTER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIPLOMA

With smartphones everywhere, we have the power of the internet in our back pocket, and most of us spend our days at work staring at a computer screen. Computers and the internet have integrated themselves into most aspects of our lives. These technologies only continue to advance with each passing year, but more and more people are needed to lead the way. The computer information technologies field is focused on the virtualization of these computer systems and networks. Everyone wants to be connected so instead of localization, companies are turning to virtualization in order to deliver media-rich data streams to people all over the world.

At Southeastern College, students in our Cloud and Information Technologies diploma program will participate in a hands-on approach to learning to dive into the world of computer architecture and server-side operations. Through the creation of platforms and grid computing, students will focus on solving big data problems.

Our students who successfully complete this career training program will receive a Cloud and Information Technologies diploma. They will also be eligible for Information Technologies Systems certificates in A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+, Microsoft MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA R/S), and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Objectives OF OUR CLOUD & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES DIPLOMA PROGRAM

Students should leave our Florida career college with an understanding of a variety of basic computer operating systems and network infrastructure for both single and multi-user environments. They should be able to manage a modern computer network and enter confidently into a position within this emerging field.

Those students who successfully receive a diploma for Cloud and Information Technologies with us, should have the knowledge and skills for an entry-level technical position in the areas of network administration, server and client administration, big-data administration, and information security.
