HVAC Program Description
The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning program prepares students for entry-level positions in the thriving HVAC industry. Students gain hands-on experience with air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, and heating systems through practical training on real equipment. This career training program builds foundational skills needed to install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVACR systems in residential and commercial settings.
The Southeastern College HVAC course combines classroom instruction with extensive lab time where students work on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. The program includes preparation for industry-recognized HVAC certifications, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10-Hour Safety Certification and EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Transition Certification.
