Southeastern College’s West Palm Beach Campus Celebrates Graduating Class

West Palm Beach, FL – June 2015 – The Class of 2015 is proud to announce Representative Mark Pafford will be the keynote speaker for this ceremony. The graduation will take place on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Grace Fellowship, located at 8350 Okechobee Blvd. beginning at 6:00 p.m. Representative Pafford, who will address the 100 graduates, was born in Dade County and is a fourth generation Floridian who now resides in West Palm Beach with his family. Rep. Pafford serves as the Democratic Leader for the Florida House of Representatives. He began his legislative career as a Congressional Aide for U.S. Congressman Larry Smith and also worked for then-State Representative Lois Frankel. First elected to the House in 2008, his district includes West Palm Beach, Greenacres, Haverhill, Loxahatchee Groves, Wellington and Royal Palm Beach. Rep. Pafford is a graduate of Florida International University and is currently the CEO of the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation for the Everglades.

“I am proud to acknowledge our outstanding graduates for their academic accomplishments. Each graduate is recognized for their dedication, sacrifice and hard work it took to obtain this achievement,” said Robert Keiser, Campus Vice President. “I am confident that their successes will serve them well in the future as they go forth toward their new endeavors.” The valedictorian for this graduating class will be Jeannie Spataro, who earned her certificate in Medical Assisting. The salutatorian is Phi Nhu Nguyen, earning a certificate in Pharmacy Technology.

One of the graduates who stood out during her time in the Pharmacy Technology program was Danielle Henry, a single mom with three kids. Henry excelled academically and had a great attendance record while enrolled. In order to be home during the day with her children, she did her externship at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center during the evening hours. Fortunately, her hard work paid off and she was offered a position with PBG Medical Center.
